  • What is CircleUp?
    CircleUp is a new social members club for people in their 20s and 30s in Bath and Bristol who want to meet new people, try new things, and be part of a great community. ​ We host a variety of in-person events and activities every week, from pub socials and hikes to cinema and brunches, making it easy to meet like-minded people in a friendly environment.
  • Who is CircleUp for?
    CircleUp is for people in their 20s and 30s who want to meet new people, expand their social circles, and share fun experiences in Bath and Bristol. Whether you’re new to the area, looking to find people to do fun stuff with, or just looking to shake up your routine, we started this to help you meet like-minded people in a relaxed, welcoming and fun environment.
  • What kind of events do you run?
    We host a wide range of fun and welcoming events designed to bring people together and try new things. Examples include: Pub socials coffee and brunch Outdoor adventures like group hikes or city tours Sports like bouldering, tennis, and running Experiences like visiting local attractions and public events together We also encourage our members to run their own events - if there’s something you’re passionate about or an activity you’d like to share with others, we’ll help you make it happen! Whether it’s starting a book club, organizing a brunch, or going to watch Bath Rugby, we’re all about members shaping the community.
  • When are you launching
    We’re launching in January 2025 in Bath and Bristol! Our first events will be a great opportunity to meet new people, experience what CircleUp is all about, and help shape the community from the start. You can register your interest now to stay in the loop. By signing up, you’ll be the first to hear about our launch events, and get access to early bird discounts.
  • What does it cost to join?
    Please see the latest membership pricing on the 'Join Us' page. We’re building a vibrant community, and your membership fee helps us grow, fund great events, and keep everyone engaged. It gives you access to weekly socials, member-led activities, and supports our ability to deliver on our mission of making lives better by bringing people together. Please note: Some events with venue costs may have an additional charge, but these will always run at breakeven pricing. For example, a bouldering session costing £8 per person would simply involve paying £8.
  • Is this a dating club?
    Nope! - CircleUp is all about friendship, shared experiences, and community. While you’ll meet great people, the focus is on building friendships and enjoying new activities together.
  • Why are you just for people in their 20s and 30s?
    We’re starting with a community for people in their 20s and 30s because we feel this group is often underserved. It’s a stage of life where people can feel caught in between—past the university years but not yet fully settled down. This can make it harder to expand your social circle and find other like-minded people. That said, this is just our starting point. If you’d like to create a Circle for a different demographic, we’d love to hear from you—please get in touch!
  • I’m not very outgoing - will CircleUp work for me?
    Absolutely! CircleUp events are designed to be low-pressure and welcoming. We know it’s not always easy to meet new people, so we make sure everyone feels included. Many others feel the same way, so you won’t be alone!
  • Do I need to come to events alone, or can I bring friends?
    You’re welcome to come however you feel most comfortable! We expect many people come alone, and our events are designed to be inclusive and easy to join, even if you don’t know anyone at first. We'll be there to make sure you're welcomed help you feel at ease. If you’d prefer to bring a friend along, they’re more than welcome to join, too!
  • Can I run my own event?
    Absolutely! We love it when members take the lead. If you have an idea for an event—like a book club, brunch meetup, or tennis group—just let us know, and we’ll help you bring it to life.
